Los Angeles has shaped our pop culture like no other city in the world and has thus become a transatlantic place of hope. From 8 to 10 November 2026, re:publica brings together actors from the film industry, the tech sector, politics and society in Los Angeles – as a deliberate statement in times of great uncertainty and social polarisation. Through discussions and encounters at special venues, we open up new perspectives on the film industry, technological sovereignty and the future of transatlantic dialogue.

Join us across three days of conversations, exchange and networking. Three very special places provide the perfect stages for the first re:publica Los Angeles:

At re:publica Los Angeles, perspectives from Europe and the USA come together to discuss questions of the digital society. The focus is on three thematic areas: Film & Creativity, Democracy & Innovation, and Science & Technology. How are AI and new technologies changing the film industry, democracy, creativity and our everyday lives - and how can we actively shape this transformation?
