Anisa Abeytia is the Founder and CEO of FourthSpace Solutions, an AI governance consultancy providing independent, third-party pre-deployment risk evaluation for AI systems, with a focus on patient-facing healthcare AI in safety-net settings, embedding accountability and digital inclusion at the architectural level before deployment rather than auditing for compliance after the fact. She is a member of the G7/G20 Research Group at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) and serves as Research Lead on the Invisible Hands Project (American University of Beirut / Triangle), the first comparative study of the AI gig workforce in the MENA region. She serves on the Board of Expert Advisors' AI Work Group at the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), and is a member of EveryoneOn's AI Advisory Board. She also has contributed to the LA County Intergovernmental Broadband Coordinating Committee and Washington State's Digital Equity Roadmap, and served as a UNHCR Innovation Fellow.
